About Stan Bain
Born and raised in Montana, Stan Bain has lived a life shaped by courage, service, and purpose. His journey began not in the skies or on the battlefield, but with an unexpected leap—his first parachute jump as a high school student. That fearless curiosity would define the rest of his life.
After serving in Vietnam, Stan returned home determined to rebuild his future. He spent over three decades with the U.S. Forest Service, working with remote sensing and GIS technology, earning national recognition for his leadership and innovation. His work even took him to Washington, D.C., where he helped shape modern mapping systems for the government.
